Here's something interesting: check out Bush's response to DoL Novak's claim that
The President knows who leaked Plame to him
Bush also said he did not know why syndicated columnist Robert Novak recently declared that Bush knew who the leaker was and that reporters should press him to give up the name.
Novak's column in July 2003 was the first to publicly disclose Plame's name.
Bush called Novak's comment a "bold assertion."
Asked why Novak would make such a declaration, Bush said: "Better ask him. I don't know."

--note that he only replied to why Novak would SAY that, not whether Novak was RIGHT. He called it a bold assertion, but not a false one. Shame on NewsHour for not seeking an explicit denial, however.
--this is at the bottom of an attempt to clarify his statement last night that DeLay was "innocent"...until proven guilty. That explanation is similarly tortured. Has Bush ever referred to Libby's guilt or innocene, other than saying that things had to take their course?
People should continue to ask The President each day "Do you know who the leaker is?"
